Thank you for your continued support of our program, our players and of course our sponsors!
Lacrosse – A Brief History
Lacrosse is often referred to as the oldest organized sport. The game of Lacrosse was invented by the Native Americans nearly 800 years ago and was commonly known in the earlier years as “stickball”. The game was designed originally to train and condition warriors, but later developed into a means to resolve disputes between rival villages. These major events would take place many times over a number of days on a playing field with goals placed several miles apart.
The Pacific Grove Lacrosse “Winter Ball” program is scheduled to take place on two Saturdays in December and two Saturdays in January.
We are excited to announce that we again will have four professional Lacrosse coaches from across our nation joining us to direct each of the four sessions. Join our mailing list so that we can keep you updated as we finalize the details.
